Job Title: Neonatal APP

The Neonatal APP is a highly skilled healthcare professional responsible for providing expert clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants. This role requires a strong foundation in neonatal care, with a focus on delivering family-centered care in collaboration with medical, nursing, and support services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants, including diagnosis, treatment, and care planning.
  • Collaborate with medical, nursing, and support services to deliver family-centered care.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for healthcare professionals and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Maintain active participation in continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Clinical NNP Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP, Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Current Florida State Licensure as APRN or a PA.
  • Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP).
  • Current Licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, or PA.
  • Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or a PA.
  • Requires 3 years of NNP or PA experience in a Level III or IV NICU.
