Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse
Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
- Document patient care given and monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Adhere to all core measure initiatives, patient safety goals, and NQF Safe Practices.

Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire, ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire, and one year of experience preferred.
