We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Clinical Supervisor to lead our Vascular Access Team at Highmark Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and providing professional nursing care to patients, while also coordinating the daily clinical and operational components of the unit.
Key Responsibilities- Quality and Satisfaction Measures: Oversee, monitor, and collect data related to the facility and department's quality and satisfaction measures.
- Staff Development and Performance: Serve as the clinical expert and role model for staff, monitoring and mentoring staff performance and following up appropriately.
- Leadership and Communication: Demonstrate effective leadership skills through effective communication and interpersonal skills, enhancing professional relationships and achieving desired outcomes.
- Patient Care Coordination: Utilize the nursing process in providing and coordinating the plan of patient care for the age-appropriate population.
- Staffing and Operations: Ensure appropriate staffing levels and staffing mix to optimize routine operations within the context of productivity requirements.
- Current State of PA RN Licensure: Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- CPR Certification: CPR certification.
- Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Nursing or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
- BSN: BSN.
- Experience in Clinical Specialty: 3 years experience in clinical specialty.
- Previous Supervisory Experience: Previous supervisory experience.
- Certification in Area of Specialty: Certification in area of specialty.
