We are currently seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Specialist who holds HVAC or EPA certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address work orders efficiently, perform preventative maintenance, and assist in daily onsite operations under the guidance of the Lead Maintenance Technician and Community Manager.
- Work full-time, with a schedule from Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a one-hour lunch break.
- Participate in the On-Call Rotation, responding to emergencies as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Full-time position, up to 40 hours per week.
- Hourly pay rate ranges from $26 to $28.
- Eligible for employer-sponsored benefits and quarterly bonuses, potentially up to 5% of annual salary.
- Receive a $100 stipend for on-call responsibilities.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a dedicated individual who can uphold the highest standards within our apartment community. Your role will involve assisting residents with work orders, performing minor repairs, and collaborating with the Lead Maintenance Technician on routine maintenance and improvement projects.
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
- Ability to conduct general appliance repairs, painting, plumbing, and landscaping.
- Thorough and courteous in assessing and resolving work orders.
- Daily property inspections to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Timely response to work orders and effective communication with supervisors.
Experience Required:
- Commitment to company values and teamwork.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge or experience in plumbing, drywall repair, painting, carpentry, appliance repair, and minor electrical troubleshooting.
- Previous experience in a luxury apartment community is preferred.
- HVAC Type I and Type II/EPA Universal Certification is mandatory.
- Ability to handle after-hours or weekend emergencies.
- High school diploma; technical school education is a plus.
