Seeking a highly experienced Senior Plastics Manufacturing Professional to lead process development and improvements for a leading supplier in the rail, construction, and heavy truck industries.


Responsibilities:



  • Develop and document processes, tooling, and new product development for thermoformed products.
  • Optimize productivity by reducing cycle time, improving quality, reducing scrap, and lowering operating costs through continual process improvement.
  • Initiate and assist with capital improvement projects aimed at enhancing plant capabilities through new equipment purchase or facility modification.
  • Develop and monitor training plans to ensure personnel are versed in new process requirements.

Requirements:



  • Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar engineering field.
  • Minimum of 5 years direct manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other Lean tools.
  • General knowledge or experience with thermoforming, reaction injection molding, compression molding, material testing, assembly, and bonding.

Preferred Skills:



  • SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
