Job Summary:
Nurse Educator specialist needed to develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and possess excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee implementation and documentation of the orientation plan for nursing staff and contractors
  • Develop and manage CNA classes, ensuring in-service content meets regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with leadership to plan and conduct training sessions related to federal, state, and local regulations
  • Serve as facility liaison to approved student affiliations, providing orientation and support

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
  • Current CT State RN License
  • Long-term care/skilled nursing experience
  • Experience as a RN Supervisor
  • Strong background in Staff Development/Nurse Education

Salary:
$90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
