About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at First Student. As a Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our vehicles to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with our vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and implement process improvements to enhance our maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles.
  • A valid driver's license and a willingness to obtain a CDL (we will provide training).
  • A mechanic's tool set and a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair principles.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of $32.00, based on experience and qualifications.
  • ASE incentive of $0.25/hour for each relevant ASE obtained (we pay for training materials and exams).
