Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junk Removal Driver to join our team at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a commercial motor vehicle to transport and remove unwanted items from customers' homes and businesses.

Responsibilities
  • Operate Commercial Motor Vehicle: Safely and responsibly operate a commercial motor vehicle (junk truck) to transport and remove unwanted items from customers' homes and businesses.
  • Complete Haul-Away/Junk Removal Paperwork: Complete all necessary paperwork and ensure that revenues collected are properly accounted for and deposited at the end of each workday.
  • Maintain Truck and Equipment: Organize and secure the truck at the end of each job, and ensure that the truck and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner.
  • Conduct Pre/Post Trip Inspections: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition.
  • Remove Unwanted Items: Safely remove unwanted items from customers' homes and businesses using the proper hauling equipment and techniques.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Age and Driving Record: Must be at least 18 years old and have a clean driving record.
  • Previous Driving Experience: One year of previous driving experience with a commercial motor vehicle is preferred.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills are required.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, talk, sit, hear, use hands and fingers, handle, feel, and/or lift with hands and arms. Must be able to lift 100 pounds or more.
