Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Pest Control Technician to join our team. As an Orkin Pro, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch pest control services to our customers, ensuring their homes and businesses are safe and pest-free.

Responsibilities
  • Complete our comprehensive training program to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers
  • Prioritize safety in all responsibilities, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA guidelines
  • Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer's location
  • Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain its cleanliness
  • Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity when interacting with customers and coworkers
  • Serve as a problem solver for each customer, listening to their needs and providing innovative solutions
  • Meet with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services
  • Inspect properties, including crawl spaces, attics, and rooftops, and complete required service-related documentation

Requirements
  • No prior experience required – we'll train you to be a Pro
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
  • Ability to work independently, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers
Work Environment

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform job duties with or without accommodations. This includes safely using a ladder, lifting up to 50 lbs, accessing crawl spaces and rooftops, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
