As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance and repairs to heavy duty trucks, troubleshooting and repairing brakes, air ride systems, electrical components, suspension systems, and diagnosing and repairing engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs to heavy duty trucks
  • Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air ride systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
  • Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems
  • Inspect and replace general components as required
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks
  • A complete set of hand tools for a heavy duty truck technician
  • Vocational or Technical Training in diesel or heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
  • Willingness to learn and grow your abilities
  • Ability to work independently with a 'can-do' attitude
