Truck Driver - Fleet Service Provider



At AAA Club Alliance Inc., we are seeking a skilled and dedicated truck driver to join our fleet service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.



Job Summary

This is a full-time truck driving position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for operating a company vehicle to provide roadside assistance, towing, and other services to our customers.



Responsibilities


  2. Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire change services using established guidelines and quality control procedures.
  3. Provide tow and recovery services using established guidelines and quality control procedures.
  4. Sell and install car batteries.
  5. Communicate with members effectively to keep them informed and to ensure their safety.
  6. Make sound decisions regarding the safe service of vehicles and to accommodate member needs.
  7. Enter call information accurately into in-truck technology, process payments, handle cash, and complete reports as required.
  8. Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections, ensuring that all are in safe operating condition and that all requirements are met.


Requirements


  2. Must be at least 21 years old.
  3. Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  4. For Towing positions - must be able to obtain Virginia Towing License.
  5. Possess and maintain a valid driver's license for the state where you reside; and maintain all state and local licensing requirements.
  6. Ability to pass a physical examination as required by Department of Transportation and/or Company policy.
  7. 3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment, or technical school or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales and/or customer service role is preferred.
  8. Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds; bend, kneel and balance to change tires, inspect and to push vehicles; and use hand tools to provide service.


What We Offer

As a truck driver with AAA Club Alliance Inc., you will enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $20.50 to $23.25 based upon experience and position. Additionally, you will receive a 10% shift differential for working 2nd shift, which adds $2.00+ an hour to the hourly rate. You will also have the opportunity to earn monthly bonuses of up to $300-$500 per month. Other benefits include:
