The Opportunity

As a hardware and software management administrator, you will play a critical part in building and maintaining the infrastructure solutions that meet customer needs and take advantage of cloud capabilities and services to support Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities.

As a member of our team, you will help clients overcome complex challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical knowledge will be essential in identifying problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will be valuable in articulating the meaning of metrics and turning them into actionable information.

This is an opportunity to gain experience in the latest cloud technologies and improve your customer's environment using cloud capabilities and services. You will also have the chance to develop your skills in computer programming and scripting languages while working on critical systems for the Air Force.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet customer needs
  • Monitor and manage performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with clients to overcome complex challenges
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of cloud technologies and programming languages
  • Work with the team to develop new methodologies and techniques
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with engineering for systems hardware, integrated systems, or embedded devices
  • Knowledge of software configuration control tools
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to obtain DoD IAT Level II certification, including Sec+ within two months of hire date
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with programming in C or C++
  • Experience working with Git
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum project management
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages on Linux platforms
  • Experience with FPGA software and firmware development
  • Knowledge of bare-metal or RTOS-level development
  • Knowledge of applied RF communications theory
