Summary:

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all internal activities related to contracts and pricing for the Orthopaedic Division. This role involves formulating corporate account business plans, ensuring contract compliance, and managing pricing territories independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare P&L statements, analyze data, and make recommendations for economic viability.
  • Contract Management: Handle bids, proposals, and pricing guidelines along with contractual/legal considerations.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Generate sales reports/data for account analysis and assist with pricing issues.
  • Pricing Exception Management: Manage pricing exceptions, deductions, and credits, identifying and resolving pricing discrepancies.
  • Contract Administration: Assist Distributors and Office Managers with contract expirations and pricing concerns.
  • Account Management: Support CMCA Account Management in evaluating national contracts for orthopaedic products.
  • Pricing List Management: Implement annual price lists and oversee the training of Contract Administrators and District/Distributor Administrative Personnel.
Additional Responsibilities:

Coordinate and publish articles for the Pricing Administration Newsletter, assist with special projects, and provide regular updates on contract activities. Actively engage in market and product knowledge enhancement and participate in company programs for skill development.

Qualification Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates must be able to perform all essential duties effectively. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in business administration and possess at least three (3) years of relevant experience. A background in finance, accounting, or marketing with a focus on quantitative business analysis is preferred. Proficiency in *** Inc. Orthopaedics products and competitors is essential. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are vital for success.

Scope of Position Responsibilities:

As the Contract and Pricing Manager, responsibilities include facilitating contract submissions resulting in sales of up to *** million, supporting annual pricing projects, and providing supervision and training to contract administrator teams.
