Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Materials Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our engineering and sciences services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and transport samples of concrete and soils from construction sites to our laboratory for testing.
  • Collaborate with our team to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure the safe operation, storage, and maintenance of nuclear gauges and other equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and submit detailed reports to our clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 6+ months of recent experience in construction materials testing.
  • ACI Concrete Grade 1 Certification (required).
  • Hazmat Level 1A and 1B certification (desired).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • GED or high school diploma.
  • Strong math skills and ability to analyze data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
