Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Aerosol Quality / R&D Technician with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an Aerosol Cosmetic Laboratory setting.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Performs daily tasks aligned with project requirements.
  • Ensures a clean and safe laboratory environment.
  • Capable of working autonomously.
  • Knowledgeable in CGMP standards.
  • Flexible in adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to accurately follow and execute procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer applications.

Laboratory Responsibilities:

  • Experience in the safe filling of aerosol products.
  • Familiarity with components used in aerosol products.
  • Proficient in handling hazardous substances.
  • Management of laboratory reagent inventory.
  • Safe handling and disposal of laboratory waste.

Formulation Expertise:

  • Knowledgeable in surfactant systems, gels, and emulsions for hair and skin care formulations.
  • Understanding of hair care product formulations.
  • Ability to assess functional effects of formulations.
  • Experience in producing laboratory-scale cosmetic batches.

Manufacturing and Scale-Up:

  • Involvement in pilot scale-up and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in scale-up processes is preferred.

Communication Skills:

  • Effective collaboration with R&D Team, Sales, and Marketing departments.
  • Documenting experiments and maintaining accurate lab records.
  • Providing technical assistance across various departments.

Safety Considerations:

  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols in both plant and laboratory settings.
  • No specific sensitivity to chemicals required.
  • Familiarity with the handling of various chemical substances.

Educational Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent industry experience.
