ROLE: Site Director (Part-Time)

Location: Suffolk, VA

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in childcare and 1 year in a supervisory role, along with relevant educational credits.
  • Experience in managing groups of children is essential.

Work Schedule:

Morning: 6:30 AM - 9:15 AM
Afternoon: 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $17.00
  • Part-time benefits including health coverage and paid time off.

As a Site Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a passionate team of Guides who provide engaging activities for our student Explorers across various disciplines.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and the Leadership Team to oversee all facets of the program.
  • Training Guides to conduct exciting tasks that spark children's curiosity.
  • Encouraging creativity and exploration by establishing clubs that cater to students' interests.
  • Creating a nurturing, family-like atmosphere that promotes positive relationships among staff, children, parents, and the school community.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a childcare management role or relevant educational qualifications.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate program needs.
  • Successful completion of a background check as mandated by state regulations.
  • Proof of experience as per state childcare licensing standards.
