Job Title: Middle School Math Teacher

Suffolk Public Schools is seeking a qualified Middle School Math Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics to middle school students and promoting a love of learning in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Job Summary:

The Middle School Math Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive mathematics curriculum that meets the needs of all students. The teacher will create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters academic excellence and promotes social growth. The teacher will also be responsible for assessing student progress, providing feedback, and communicating with parents and guardians.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Virginia Teaching License endorsed in Middle School Math or Middle School 6-8.
  • Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use technology to enhance instruction and engage students in the learning process.
