Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and provide appropriate interventions to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current State of Louisiana licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- IV Therapy Credentials.
This position requires frequent exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue. The incumbent works in a patient care area, interacts with patients, and may be exposed to hazardous medications or hazardous waste.
