Cardiac Ultrasound Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at South Central Health System. As an Echo Tech, you will play a critical role in providing diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate high-frequency sound wave equipment to produce images of the heart
- Conduct echocardiography testing procedures according to established protocols
- Evaluate patient heart function and adjust testing procedures as needed
- Document and archive diagnostic procedures within the hospital computer system
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
- Graduate of an accredited school of cardiac ultrasound or nationally credentialed ultrasound program
- Minimum two years of experience in cardiac ultrasound and related fields
- Preferred certification in EEGBLS
- Provide a positive and professional representation of the organization
- Promote a culture of safety for patients and employees
- Maintain hospital standards for a clean and quiet patient environment
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement activities
- Ability to stand for long periods and walk frequently
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel equipment
- Ability to push or pull equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a moderate noise environment
