We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Technician to join our team at South Central Health System. As an EEG Technician, you will be responsible for performing electroencephalogram (EEG) tests to diagnose and monitor neurological disorders. You will work closely with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

• Perform EEG tests in various settings, including the intensive care unit, EEG lab, and other hospital units.
• Operate EEG equipment, including standard and advanced EEG monitoring and long-term epilepsy video monitoring.
• Collect and analyze EEG data, recognizing normal and abnormal results and eliminating artifact.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely information.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Graduate of an accredited school in EEG and/or Level II Registered EEG Technologist or Level I EEG Technologist.
• High School Graduate with OJT with a minimum of two years experience in EEG and/or Cardiac Ultrasound with proven job skills in EEG and related field.
• Cardiovascular Technologist and Technician licensure.
• Preferred Certification and/or Registry in EEG and BLS.
