As a full-time, exempt Senior Accounting Specialist with CPS Solutions, LLC, you will play a crucial role in the monthly financial closing process, ensuring that financial statements are both timely and precise. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Preparing and posting various journal entries including cash, payroll, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities.
  • Conducting balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Managing accounts payable tasks, including fixed asset management.
  • Generating and dispatching invoices, while assisting with client collections.
  • Providing support during year-end audits.
  • Addressing various ad hoc requests and performing related duties as assigned.

This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager.

The ideal candidate for this Senior Accounting Specialist role will possess exceptional attention to detail, the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus potential bonuses.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of recent accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel, including formulas, functions, pivot tables, conditional formatting, filtering, and macros.
  • Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
