Cyber Physical Systems Engineering Manager

Integer Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Physical Systems Engineering Manager to lead our cyber research programs. As a Principal Investigator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing offensive cybersecurity methods for cyber physical systems on maritime platforms and hardening of said platforms against attacks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer and network architecture, operating systems, and software development. Experience with unmanned and autonomous systems research, particularly in maritime autonomous systems, is highly desirable. Additionally, a strong understanding of digital engineering, system modeling, and simulation tools is required.
The Cyber Physical Systems Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers and researchers, mentoring and managing them to achieve project goals. The role requires excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to travel up to 15% of the time for meetings with government customers, technical conferences, and off-site test events.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of sophisticated cybersecurity measures, including AI/ML security tools, to enhance the resilience of autonomous systems.
- Develop and implement attack emulation cyber-physical resilience stress testing platforms to simulate sophisticated cyber threats.
- Conduct research on topics related to cyber-physical systems, such as Internet of Things (IoT), Intelligent Sensors, Autonomous Systems, Industrial Control Systems, or other related topics.
- Collaborate with federal sponsors to understand their missions, technology gaps, and success criteria.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other related field) and 5+ years of experience relevant to the primary responsibilities outlined above.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance.
- Strong background in computer and network architecture, operating systems, and software development.
- Experience with unmanned and autonomous systems research, particularly in maritime autonomous systems.
