We are seeking a highly qualified Faculty member to join our team as an Assistant/Associate/Professor of Internal Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, clinical duties, and scholarly activity.
Key Responsibilities- Teach LMU-DCOM approved curriculum and contribute to the attainment of the mission of the University, the School, and the Department.
- Conduct clinical duties and scholarly activity, including research and publication.
- Develop and implement curriculum and academic programs within LMU-DCOM.
- Promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and academic excellence.
- Provide clinical service and patient care, and supervise students during clinical educational activities.
- Participate in scholarly activity, including research and publication.
- Serve as a mentor to medical and other students.
- D.O./M.D. degree and Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
- Able to be licensed in Tennessee within the first-year of hire date by the Tennessee Board of Osteopathic Examination/Tennessee Medical State Board.
- Unrestricted Tennessee license and approved medical professional liability insurance must be maintained throughout employment.
- D.O. degree and able to be licensed in Tennessee by the Tennessee Board of Osteopathic Examination.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in clinical/academic medicine teaching and leadership.
