We are seeking a highly qualified Dentistry Instructor to join our team at Lincoln Memorial University College of Dental Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical and preclinical instruction to our dental students, as well as providing direct patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dentistry and a passion for teaching and mentoring.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team of general dental and specialty faculty in our Center for Excellence to provide dental students with interdisciplinary clinical experiences in comprehensive patient-centered oral health care. This includes diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment in all phases of general dentistry, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and preclinical instruction to dental students
  • Provide direct patient care
  • Work as part of a team to provide interdisciplinary clinical experiences to dental students
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and educational programs

Requirements:

  • Completion of a DMD or DDS degree from an institution accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)
  • Minimum of ten years of clinical practice experience, which may include post-graduate residency
  • Eligibility for dental licensure in Tennessee
