Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Shaner Hotel Group. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service and maintaining the highest standards of hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service
    • Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring that all guests feel welcome and valued.
    • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Hotel Operations
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front desk team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, ensuring that it is always presentable and welcoming.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and motivate the front desk team, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members, helping them to identify areas for improvement and develop their skills.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Process guest folios and handle payments, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to management on hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum one year experience in a similar position, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
    • Prior supervisory experience is highly desirable.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Education
    • High school graduate or equivalent, with some college education preferred.
  • Language
    • Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable.
