Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern to join our team at Walmart. As a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in the pharmacy, including processing prescriptions, stocking supplies, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process prescriptions and fill orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Stock and secure pharmacy supplies and merchandise.
  • Provide excellent customer service by acknowledging customers, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
  • Operate equipment, such as cash registers and related tools, to process customer purchases.
  • Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
  • Maintain the pharmacy area in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
  • Preferred qualifications include Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Additionally, you will receive PTO and/or PPTO that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes. The amount you receive depends on your job classification and length of employment.

Walmart also offers a paid education benefit program, Live Better U, which provides tuition, books, and fees for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00-$28.00, and additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
