Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern at Walmart, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment while pursuing your pharmacy degree.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality of patient information and maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Provide pharmacy products and services to customers, including processing prescriptions and over-the-counter orders, stocking and securing pharmacy supplies, and completing paperwork and documentation.
• Offer exceptional customer service by acknowledging customers, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions, while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
• Operate cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases, utilizing appropriate procedures for different payment types and items sold.
• Receive and stock merchandise from distribution centers and suppliers, and maintain the pharmacy area in accordance with company policies and procedures.
