Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Grad Intern at Walmart, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of pharmaceutical care provided to our customers. This position requires a strong understanding of pharmacy practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders under the direction of a Pharmacist.
  • Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs.
  • Maintain confidential information and controlled medication procedures as permitted by local, state, and federal laws.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and evaluate potential chemical interactions and side effects associated with the use of prescribed medications.
  • Provide customer service by acknowledging the customer, identifying customer needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving customer issues and concerns, and promoting products and services.

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Science and Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
