Job Summary

Xerox is seeking a highly skilled and strategic finance leader to join our team as the Chief Accounting Officer. This key finance executive will be responsible for leading the worldwide accounting function of a $6.5 billion global technology leader.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the preparation, analysis, and validation of all financial reports internal and external, meeting the needs of the organization and compliance with US and local GAAP and international reporting requirements.
  2. Manage accounting operations and strategic outsourcing relationships.
  3. Act as a liaison to outside auditors.
  4. Provide leadership in support of Xerox Reinvention, an operational simplification and strategic repositioning of the business, enabling sustainable growth in profit and free cash flow.
  5. Represent the accounting department at board meetings, direct and develop Xerox's global accounting policies, practices, procedures, and initiatives.
  6. Advise management of potential changes in accounting regulations or practices that may impact operations and reporting.
  7. Monitor and influence emerging US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC developments, including participation in outreach with regulators and industry peers.
  8. Coordinate ESG reporting requirements with the EHS&S group and other corporate functions, to ensure compliance with various governmental regulations throughout the world.
  9. Partner with operations finance, tax, and treasury departments to develop solutions and strategies that support our investment and execution objectives.
  10. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including business leaders, auditors, executive management, and the Board of Directors.
  11. Coach and mentor leadership team members and build a culture that promotes an effective, efficient, and collaborative team environment.
  12. Interview, recruit, and hire accounting staff as required.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  2. CPA Certification; continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements.
  3. 15+ years experience in a senior accounting position.
  4. Extensive business experience and strategic knowledge.
  5. Highly skilled in budgeting and bookkeeping.
  6. Excellent financial and analytical abilities.
  7. Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  8. High attention to detail.
