Lead Mixologist, Neighborhood Goods

At Neighborhood Goods, we are redefining the retail experience with a modern twist on the traditional department store. Our unique space showcases a dynamic selection of top-tier brands and products, creating an engaging environment for customers and brands alike.

Our in-house dining establishment, Prim & Proper, offers a diverse menu that includes small plates, lunch, dinner, desserts, coffee, and a fully stocked bar. We pride ourselves on our hybrid service model, which encompasses counter-service, table-service, and takeout options.

Position Overview: Bar Operations Supervisor

The Bar Operations Supervisor will play a crucial role in the management of our restaurant, stepping in to lead during the absence of the Chef Manager or Food & Beverage Team Lead. This position involves supporting the Chef Manager and Food & Beverage Team Lead in training and guiding a high-performing team, both in the front and back of the house. As this is a customer-facing role, outstanding customer service is essential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in bartending or barista roles
  • Engaged and proactive management approach
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members
  • Exceptional leadership and management capabilities
  • Strong problem-solving and delegation skills
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with restaurant management systems (POS, Inventory, Scheduling)
  • Understanding of restaurant financials (P&L, Budget, Food & Labor Costs)
