Job Summary

Madison Wood Preservers, Inc. is seeking a skilled mechanics/technician to join our maintenance team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our stationary and mobile equipment, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations. If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for mechanical work, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair stationary and mobile equipment, including diesel engines and machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work in a team environment to ensure seamless operations
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support
Requirements
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in hot and cold conditions
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with diesel engine and machine maintenance
  • Truck/HD or forklift mechanical experience
  • Mechanical experience in an industrial setting
  • Welding and fabrication experience
