This is a 1st Shift - 10 hour, 4 day week schedule Monday-Thursday 10:00am-8:30pm. The successful candidate will be required to work overtime when needed, which may include Fridays and Saturdays.
Job SummaryThe Facilities Maintenance Specialist is responsible for performing custodial duties throughout the facility, ensuring a clean and safe environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain floors in a clean state by sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming and mopping.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, break areas, and training rooms.
- Utilize the bathroom machine to deep clean all bathrooms three times per week.
- Clean and service custodial equipment as needed.
- Dust office furniture and fixtures.
- Clean and sanitize windows.
- Clean and sanitize microwaves and refrigerators.
- Order necessary cleaning supplies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Physically agile and dexterous.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable squatting, twisting, bending, and kneeling.
- Working knowledge of custodial methods, techniques, and materials.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to operate commercial vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners.
- Resilient to cleaning agents and chemicals.
