Patient Service Representative Job Description

Nashville General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and accurate registrations, scheduling, and benefit verification
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records and databases
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a patient access or healthcare environment
  • Insurance verification and scheduling experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology
