Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

CommuniCare Rehab, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Kensington Healthcare Center. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid or pending state Speech Language Pathology license

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and review patient/resident medical charts, evaluations, and develop treatment plans in accordance with patient needs
  2. Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to improve communication, swallowing, and/or cognitive problems
  3. Administer, score, and interpret specialized speech tests
  4. Instruct residents, families, and caregivers on speech and swallowing techniques
  5. Attend and lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and make recommendations to other team members
