Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team at ProCare Therapy in New Oxford, PA. As a Speech Therapist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, helping individuals to improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness in students' communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students, tailored to their unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success and ensure a cohesive approach to communication development.
  • Provide therapy sessions in both individual and group settings, adapting your approach to meet the needs of each student.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on assessments, working closely with educators and other stakeholders to support student success.
  • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based approaches in speech-language pathology, applying this knowledge to inform your practice and improve outcomes for students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
