Hire Energy, LLC: Healthcare/Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality healthcare services within a correctional facility. As an LPN, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the health and well-being of inmates while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct nursing care to inmates, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing basic medical procedures as per established protocols.
  • Conduct initial assessments and regular check-ups to evaluate inmates' health conditions and report changes to supervisory staff.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, treatments, and any changes in health status, complying with facility policies and state regulations.
  • Work closely with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications
  • Current LPN license. Compact or License for state of the facility.
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a correctional or similar healthcare setting preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a secured environment and manage the challenges associated with correctional healthcare.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
  • Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
