Job Description:

Project Manager Needed for ESA V Program

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team on the ESA V program in Washington, DC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in delivering high-quality IT services to our customers within the Department of Justice (DOJ).

The ESA V program provides a range of IT services, including software application support, enterprise infrastructure support, service desk, ITSM, deskside support, workstation engineering and maintenance, telecommunications and mobility engineering services, managed print services, Active Directory services, and video conferencing. We are expanding our support to the Criminal Division (CRM) and are looking for a dedicated Project Manager to provide project management support to the CRM customer.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile program with a dynamic team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with the CRM customer to understand their needs and requirements, and will be responsible for translating these into actionable project plans.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in leading teams and delivering complex projects. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a strong understanding of IT services and be able to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of professionals in delivering high-quality IT services to our customers
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Work closely with the CRM customer to understand their needs and requirements
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable project plans
  • Ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Provide regular progress updates to the CRM customer and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Current clearance is not required, but selected individual cannot start the assignment until the required security clearance is granted by the customer
  • Experience serving as an analyst on projects with responsibility for supporting creating and reviewing appropriate artifacts
  • Experience in providing excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Agile experience
  • Experience establishing goals and meeting project plan objectives
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer interface experience
  • Excellent teamwork skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Software development and testing experience
  • Systems engineering/business analyst experience
  • Experience with Oracle, SharePoint and/or web development
  • Leadership skills and experience
  • Scrum Master or other Agile certifications
  • Government contracting experience, particularly with the DOJ
  • DOJ Clearance

Salary Range: $145K to $150K
