Employee Learning and Development Manager

Job Description:
The Employee Learning and Development Manager is responsible for developing and implementing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of employees in a manufacturing setting. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that the workforce is well-equipped to meet the demands of production processes and maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of manufacturing employees, including safety protocols, operational procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, testing, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with plant managers and supervisors to identify training needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of all training activities, including attendance, assessments, and certifications.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure training content is current and relevant.
- Support new hires in their onboarding process, ensuring they receive the necessary training to integrate smoothly into the workforce.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a training role, preferably in a plant/manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of training methodologies, adult learning principles, and relevant industry regulations.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year.
