Job Title: Special Education Instructor, Self Contained Classroom

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a Special Education Instructor, you will work in a self-contained classroom setting, providing individualized instruction and support to students with mild to moderate special needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the varying learning capabilities of students.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and technologies to engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and other specialists to support student learning and development.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching License or eligibility for certification.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
