Position Overview

A-Line Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Certified Clinical Assistant for a prominent client in the healthcare sector.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The hourly wage for this role ranges from $22 to $24, depending on experience, with bi-weekly payments.

Position Highlights

  • This role is a contract position with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position based on attendance and performance during the initial evaluation period.
  • The required work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in escorting patients to and from examination rooms and treatment areas as necessary.
  • Document patient information prior to each physician appointment, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and any medication updates.
  • Handle patient inquiries via telephone, directing them to the appropriate healthcare provider or relaying care instructions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Experience in Oncology is strongly preferred; alternatively, experience in Internal Medicine or a related subspecialty is acceptable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a medical assistant role is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is essential.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is required.
