About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team at LCMC Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and support during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including angiography and special procedures.
  • Assist interventional providers and colleagues with invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, utilizing advanced radiographic equipment.
  • Administer ionizing radiation to patients for diagnostic and research purposes, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Perform radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopic and digital imaging data acquisition and processing.
  • Operate support equipment, computers, and x-ray emitting devices to ensure technical success of procedures.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in interventional radiology, special procedures, or catheterization lab.
  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners License in Radiography.
  • Preferred: ARRT Certification in Radiography and Vascular Interventional Radiography.
