Job Title: Group Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Group Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of NBA G League ticket packages, including group tickets, party decks, season ticket memberships, and partial plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect, sell, and service numerous group buyers while handling multiple group initiatives simultaneously.
  • Plan and coordinate large group and themed events.
  • Meet daily/weekly outbound call and appointment expectations.
  • Discover and meet new prospects through scheduling, coordinating, and conducting client meetings via phone, video conference, in-person appointment, and networking events.
  • Build positive relationships to gain deeper knowledge of each customer.
  • Work all home games to perform game-day responsibilities, including entertaining clients and fulfilling large group events and theme night commitments.
  • Provide superior customer service to existing and prospective clients.
  • Attend team and community events to improve sales throughout the year.
  • Work closely with internal departments for cross-promotional initiatives and assist with projects as needed.
Game-Day Responsibilities:
  • Assist with game presentation, Fane Experience Packages, on-court promotions, giveaways & program distribution, and entertainment acts.
  • Be available to help the Director of Ticket Sales on all game-day projects, which may include working Will-Call, running sales tables, conducting seat visits, and facilitating in-season sales initiatives.
  • Assist with arena set-up and breakdown of arena assets.
Qualifications:
  • High proficiency in written and verbal communications (public speaking and presentation).
  • Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills.
  • Conclusive, persistent, and results-oriented approach.
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to be successful.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team toward achieving department and company goals.
  • Strong time-management, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Maintain high-level customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to navigate the arena to visit clients and escort potential customers on seat tours and fan experiences on game days and non-game days.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours based on changing priorities, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Flexible with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/projects while working well under pressure to exceed customer expectations.
  • Experience in a ticket sales role preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, sport management, or a related field or equivocal experience.
  • Proficient digital literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to learn and master new software programs, including CRM platforms and ticketing systems (Ticketmaster, Archtics).
