Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team at Presbyterian Homes and Services. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy care and services to our residents.
Responsibilities- Assist with implementing and providing physical therapy care and services to residents, consistent with regulations and established rehabilitation policies and procedures.
- Provide patient and family education and consultation related to disorders and their management.
- Communicate resident status and needs to patients, families, staff, and other professionals.
- Provide direct care of residents with physician-ordered evaluations and treatments, based on regulations and established rehabilitation procedures and best practices.
- Maintain all required documentation in accordance with regulations and established rehabilitation best practices.
- Assist with daily operations of the rehab department, as directed by Physical Therapists and/or Director of Rehabilitation Services.
- Graduate of an accredited program for physical therapy assistants.
- Current licensure in the state of practice, as required.
- Competence in physical therapy treatment and documentation, according to the Standards of Practice.
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
