Job Summary:
Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team for a travel assignment in the Washington, D.C. area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac imaging procedures using echocardiography and other advanced techniques
- Work with patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, in various settings, including labs, ICUs, EDs, and ORs
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports of procedures and patient data
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and procedures
Requirements:
- RDCS or RCVT certification
- BLS AHA certification
- 1 year of experience in basic and advanced cardiac imaging procedures
- ARDMS cardiac echo certification
- Experience with Echocardiology US systems and transducers, including transesophageal, arterial, and vascular US
