Job Summary:

Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team for a travel assignment in the Washington, D.C. area.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiac imaging procedures using echocardiography and other advanced techniques
  • Work with patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, in various settings, including labs, ICUs, EDs, and ORs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of procedures and patient data
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and procedures

Requirements:

  • RDCS or RCVT certification
  • BLS AHA certification
  • At least 1 year of experience in basic and advanced cardiac imaging procedures
  • ARDMS cardiac echo certification
  • Experience with echocardiography US systems and transducers, including transesophageal, arterial, and vascular US
