Job Summary

Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join their team for a travel assignment in the Washington, D.C. area.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality cardiac imaging procedures using advanced echocardiography equipment.
  • Conduct exams on patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, in various settings, including labs, ICUs, EDs, and ORs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cardiac imaging procedures and technologies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • RDCS or RCVT certification required.
  • BLS AHA certification required.
  • At least one year of experience in basic and advanced cardiac imaging procedures.
  • ARDMS cardiac echo certification required.
  • Experience with Echocardiology US systems and all transducers, including transesophageal, arterial, and/or vascular US.
