Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Propulsion Assembly Technician to join our team at Rocket Lab's Headquarters in Long Beach, CA. As a Propulsion Assembly Technician, you'll be responsible for building sub-assemblies for the Rutherford rocket engine. You'll work closely with our Propulsion Production Manager and Production organization to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and test rocket hardware, including turbo pumps and rocket engines
  • Work on a high-caliber cross-functional team
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure smooth production processes
  • Contribute to the development of new manufacturing processes and product development
Requirements
  • 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in aviation, aerospace, or similar industry
  • Talented with mechanical assembly tools, including pressure testing equipment and welding preparation
  • Talented with electrical assembly tools, including bench testing and measuring instruments
  • High school diploma or GED
