Responsibilities- Provide professional services to patients, business partnerships, and staff.
- Perform assigned tasks of direct and indirect care in the ambulatory setting.
- Meet the care needs of patients under the direct supervision of a physician or assigned Supervisor.
- Assist Medical Review Officer certified physicians with organizing and facilitating the drug testing process.
- Graduate from a Medical Assistant diploma or associate degree program or Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program.
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA) or registration (RMA) preferred.
- 1 year customer service experience or 2 years of experience in a medical field, preferably in a clinic.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Updated continuing education courses in safety and occupational health.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Computer proficiency, including prior experience with electronic medical record systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to use various forms of office equipment.
- Ability to work in conjunction with staff in a supportive way to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Ability to address difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Current Wisconsin LPN license (if applicable).
- MRO Assistant Certification within 1 year of employment.
- NIOSH Certification.
- Pulmonary Function, Audiometric Testing Training Certification.
- Drug Screen Collection Certification.
- BAT Certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers.
