Job Summary

Northern Kentucky University is seeking a part-time Instructor to teach Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II Labs in the Department of Biological Sciences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a lab section of Human Anatomy and Physiology I or Human Anatomy and Physiology II in a fully face-to-face format on the NKU campus.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to ensure students meet course objectives.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum changes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Biological Sciences with appropriate anatomy and physiology experience.
  • Experience with the use of the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) and human cadavers is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with students, faculty, and staff.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or a related field.
  • Experience teaching human anatomy and physiology courses at the college level.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, including the ability to design and implement lab activities.
