Job Summary:
As a Radiologic Technologist - CT/X-Ray Specialist at Newport Hospital and Health Services, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including CT/MRI procedures as applicable, and ensuring patient safety protocols. You will serve as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform imaging procedures, including CT/MRI procedures, as applicable
Ensure patient safety protocols are followed
Function as the first line interface with customers
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely imaging results

Requirements:
Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
State licensure that permits them to perform diagnostic CT exams and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams
Registration and certification in radiography by ARRT and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams
Certification in nuclear medicine technology by ARRT or NMTCB and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams
One (1) year of radiologic/imaging experience
Must be certified in CT registry within one year of hire
Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology
Proficiency with most major CT/X-Ray equipment manufacturer's hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Toshiba)

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required
Prefer specific experience and training in CT
